Aplós Front-of-House (FOH) Hourly Team Lead – Responsibilities & Role
Leadership & Reporting
- Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
- Leads FOH staff during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent guest service.
- Acts as the point of contact for servers, bartenders, and hosts during service.
- Supports enforcement of FOH policies, service standards, and guest engagement practices.
Operational Responsibilities
- Oversees floor operations, greeting guests and assisting staff as needed.
- Monitors service flow, ticket times, and guest satisfaction during shifts.
- Coordinates with BOH leads to ensure smooth communication and order execution.
- Handles minor guest complaints and escalates major issues to management.
Staff Support & Training
- Provides on-shift coaching and support to FOH staff.
- Trains new FOH employees on service standards, POS systems, and policies.
- Encourages teamwork, professionalism, and a positive guest-first culture.
Inventory & Controls
- Assists with bar and FOH supply counts during shifts.
- Monitors responsible alcohol service and compliance with company policy.
- Communicates shortages or supply needs to the FOH Manager.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensures compliance with alcohol service laws, guest safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Supports daily checklists for FOH readiness and sanitation.
- Reports any safety or facility issues to management.
Accountability
- Directly accountable for FOH performance during assigned shifts.
- Provides feedback and communicates issues to the FOH Manager or AGM.
- Supports restaurant goals for service, sales, and guest experience.
