Metals Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities:
Use micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring equipment.
Operate various pieces of equipment and machinery (band saw, router, mill)
Knowledgeable on accuracy, precision, limitations, applicability, standards, and calibrations.
Follows and understands Quality System procedures and protocols.
Collect and perform data entry for completed tests into various databases
Experience with Microsoft Office
Check equipment for correct operation and report malfunctions to supervision.
Perform calibrations and check calibrations, as needed.
Analyze samples, evaluate results and respond appropriately.
Prepare, label and store samples and materials appropriately.
Identify problems that need service from an outside source.

Required:
Previous quality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in chemistry, Biology, the sciences, quality, or related field
Open to incomplete or non-degreed candidates looking for opportunities to work in a lab
