Position Summary, Duties and Responsibilities
The Pickleball Attendant is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for players and guests at the pickleball facility. This role involves taking payments or scans for drop-in, insurance-based memberships, and passes, support staff for tournaments and rentals.
- Greet players and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor court usage and enforce facility rules to ensure fair play and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of courts, equipment, and surrounding areas, including restrooms.
- Provide information about pickleball programs, lessons, and equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Process payments for court rentals, memberships, and drop-in.
- Fill out court rental sheets and post them on the designated court.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Includes nights and weekends.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and payment processing.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Pickleball experience preferred.
Work Environment
Physical Activity(s)
- Ability to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
- Able to move equipment as needed. Must be able to left 50lbs assisted and 25lbs unassisted.
Work Environment
- Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity.
