Position Overview
- Work in a 12-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit providing care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Serve as the primary liaison for multidisciplinary care, execute physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Certification in BLS within 1 month and ALS within 6 months of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Providing direct patient care adhering to organizational policies.
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient status.
- Managing multidisciplinary coordination and discharge planning.
