System Verification Engineer (Contract)
Location: Burlington, Vermont (On-site, 5 days/week)
Employment Type: 12 month initial contract

Overview
We are seeking a System Verification Engineer to support a high-priority aerospace program focused on commercial and military fuel systems and proximity sensing technologies. The role supports critical certification and validation activities for a key aerospace customer, where program delivery timelines are currently under pressure due to delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute DO-178B/C compliant software test cases
- Perform structural coverage analysis to ensure certification compliance
- Manage and maintain requirements traceability using DOORS
- Execute verification testing in a manual and semi-automated hardware-in-the-loop environment
- Identify, assess, and clearly communicate technical and program risks
- Support debugging and root cause analysis of system and software issues
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure on-time verification delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in software or system verification (aerospace strongly preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- DO-178B/C test case development
- DOORS (requirements management tool)
- Structural coverage analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate technical risks and impacts to stakeholders
- Must be able to work on-site in Burlington, Vermont, 5 days per week
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Person status required
Bonus Experience
- Experience with Subversion (SVN) or other version control systems
- Familiarity with source-to-object code analysis
- Experience working in legacy or manual/semi-automated test environments
