Overview
We are partnering with a fast-growing aerospace company to find an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (EPLAN). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge electromechanical systems within a highly innovative and rapidly evolving environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining electrical schematics for a range of in-house developed systems, including engine test systems and custom test and measurement equipment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, hands-on engineering role and can quickly integrate into an active project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing electrical documentation and schematics
- Update and revise schematics in EPLAN Electric P8 to reflect current system designs
- Ensure all drawings meet internal standards and accurately represent as-built systems
- Interpret and work from existing drawings, BOMs, and engineering notes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to validate updates and ensure consistency
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8
- Experience working with electromechanical systems, including:
- Engine test systems
- Control panels
- Custom test and measurement equipment
- Strong ability to interpret and work from existing schematics, BOMs, and engineering documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
