School Social Worker (General Education - Elementary)

About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in South Redford, MI. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you'll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. Caseload and Environment:
- Targeted Caseload: General education elementary-aged students across one building.
- Focus: Supporting general education students and 504 plans. There is a full-time SSW in the building supporting the special education caseload that you will collaborate with.
- Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
- Push in to classrooms to provide therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
- Work together with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize student success and safety.
- Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
- Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
- Participate in 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Support students and families in accessing community resources.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $60,000 - $78,000 salary based on experience and qualifications (paid weekly)
