Speech-Language Pathologist | Middle & High School

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a middle and high school setting in the Glen Burnie area for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position serves students across 6th–12th grade and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload across both middle and high school environments. You'll support students with a range of diagnoses and communication needs while collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys variety, collaboration, and working with students throughout the secondary school years. Clinical Fellows and newer SLPs are encouraged to apply!

Position Highlights

  • Serve students in 6th–12th grade across middle and high school settings.
  • Approximately 45–50 students expected across your workload.
  • Blended caseload with both direct and consultative services.
  • Work with students representing a wide range of diagnoses and levels of support needs.
  • Gain experience supporting students across both middle and high school environments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school team.
  • Shared office space available.
  • Opportunity to develop and use skills in AAC, IEP development, and school-based service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy based on students' IEP goals and individual communication needs.
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and reevaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Address a variety of communication needs, including speech, language, social communication, pragmatic language, and functional communication.
  • Support students with a range of diagnoses and levels of severity.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention based on data.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to meaningful, measurable speech-language goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet Maryland and district special education requirements.
  • Communicate with families and educational team members regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
  • Maryland Department of Health SLP License or eligibility to obtain.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for helping students develop communication skills and succeed academically and socially.
