Physical Therapist (PT) – Multiple Locations Across Montana
We are seeking licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) for multiple openings across Montana. Opportunities are available in inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, post-acute, home health, and community-based care settings, depending on location and assignment.
Locations: Billings, Clancy, Butte, Glendive, and Plentywood, MT
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional capacity.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and clinical goals.
- Administer physiotherapy treatments such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and orthopedic interventions.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively.
- Manage discharge planning by preparing patients for transition from inpatient to outpatient or home settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care techniques.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience in acute care hospital settings with familiarity in inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy practices.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment.
- Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning.
- Hands-on experience with discharge planning processes across various clinical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in hospital or clinic settings.
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse patient populations effectively.
- Active Physical Therapist license in Montana, or eligibility to obtain
- BLS/CPR certification preferred.
Full-time, contract, and travel opportunities available
13-week assignments available for travel roles
Schedule:
Monday to Friday schedules available
Occasional weekend coverage may be required based on facility needs

Openings are available across Montana, including urban, semi-rural, and rural communities.
Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
