Position Overview
The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will play a key role in the technical design, project management, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects. This is a hands-on position well-suited for an engineer who enjoys being involved in the work, collaborating closely with leadership, and contributing to the long-term growth of a small firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including: water and wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, and sewer and utility systems
- Lead projects through design, bidding, and construction administration
- Coordinate directly with municipal clients, internal staff, and subconsultants
- Provide technical oversight and contribute to expanding in-house capabilities
- Support quality control and project delivery standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5 years of water/wastewater engineering experience (municipal experience preferred)
- Strong technical design background with project management experience
- Ability to work independently in a small-team environment
- PE license preferred or in progress
