Salary: $225K/$275K bonus

I have teamed up with a leading fabricator who specialize in bridge fabrication. They are on the look out for a Sr Structural Engineer to join their team. They cannot keep up with the growth, in fact, they are currently backlogged by over 50 projects.
Due to this, you will be joining their successful engineering department and they are looking for find someone with a sharp eye, who can dive head first and be a crucial part in their continuous growth next year.
Job Overview:
- Review contract drawings and specifications for structural steel bridge projects
- Perform engineering analysis and calculations for connection design, fit-up, framing modifications, temporary works, and erection support where required.
- Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring compliance with AASHTO, AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code, and owner requirements.
- Work with detailers to resolve geometry, camber, bolt patterns, splice locations, and fabrication sequencing issues.
- Coordinate with QC and production teams regarding fabrication methods, weld procedures, bolting, and inspection requirements.
- Prepare engineering reports, calculation packages, and RFI responses as needed.
- Support project managers in reviewing change orders, scope clarifications, and technical risks.
- Participate in pre-fabrication, constructability, and quality meetings.
- Ensure all engineering work meets safety, quality, and code standards.
What you need:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential)
- 3 years commercial experience in structural or civil engineering
