Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000/year (Based on Experience)

• Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and execution of projects within heavy industrial, manufacturing, chemical, and refinery environments.

What your future day will look like:

• Perform structural engineering calculations and develop design solutions for industrial facilities and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and construction documents for accuracy and quality.
• Lead select single-discipline projects by developing scopes of work, estimating hours, coordinating resources, and reviewing deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while effectively handling changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct field visits, installation reviews, inspections, and troubleshooting activities as needed.
• Present engineering concepts and technical recommendations to project teams and clients.
• Apply innovative problem-solving skills to develop practical and efficient structural solutions.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through industry organizations, training, and continuing education opportunities.

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of structural engineering experience supporting industrial, refinery, manufacturing, chemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience performing structural analysis, calculations, and developing construction documents.
• EIT certification will be a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and an interest in utilizing Revit and BIM-based design tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
