A growing land surveying and engineering firm in Plano is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join their team. This position will play a key role in managing survey projects for commercial and residential land development while supporting field crews, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee survey projects from kickoff through final deliverables
- Review and seal survey plats, ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys
- Provide guidance and support to field crews and office staff
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Perform boundary analysis, title research, and survey calculations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas
- Experience with commercial and residential land development surveys
- Strong knowledge of boundary resolution, ALTA surveys, and construction staking
- Experience with survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
