Warehouse Logistics Specialist – Job Description
Position Type: Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Schedule: Daytime hours with occasional evenings and weekends as required
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist plays a key role in ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products and supplies. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing loads for transport, and supporting organizational logistics needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming products and supplies
- Prepare and stage shipments for delivery or distribution
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (training provided, if necessary)
- Travel out of state as required to support logistics operations and distribution events
- Assist with general warehouse and operational tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
- Must be willing and able to travel out of state as needed
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and remain eligible for random screening
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on operational needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks (training can be provided)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
