Administrative Assistant – Job Description
Position Type: Part-Time (25 hours per week)
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations within the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a high level of proficiency with data entry and computer software. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital and physical records
- Draft and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
- Answer and route phone calls with professional etiquette
- Assist with scheduling, calendars, and general office coordination
- Provide support during meetings, including note-taking and follow-up tasks
- Assist with filing, scanning, and maintaining organized document systems
- Communicate with internal staff and external partners in a clear and professional manner
- Support general office functions and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- High level of reliability, integrity, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office support experience
- Ability to adapt to new software and tools quickly

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
