MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT Various polishing tools, plating and deplating equipment, ovens, towmotor, hand and electric trucks, shop lifts, and similar or equivalent equipment. GAUGES AND TOOLS Various polishing equipment, micrometers, small hand tools, small power tools, and similar or equivalent gauges and tools. Must have own personal tools as required. PRODUCTS OR MATERIALS Molds and mold equipment, miscellaneous polishing and plating supplies, inventory records, pasting supplies, and similar or equivalent Products and Materials. WORK GUIDES AND INSTRUCTIONS Verbal and written instructions and some blueprint reading. QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Maintain mold equipment within established specification and tolerances. WORK DESCRIPTION -Perform the polishing, plating, pasting, cleaning, and handling activities for all molds and mold related equipment. -Transport, move and stage mold equipment as required. -Inspect, gauge, and reassemble all H-28 plunger rings and neck rings. -Check all plungers and rings for leaks using water and air. -Make casts.-Disassemble molds and mold equipment to be scrapped.-Maintain inventory records. -Communicate all changes and problems as they occur to the shift supervisor or designate.-Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area. -Do other work as required by supervision.
