Location: Hebron, Ohio (Shop-based with occasional field work)

ClearPath Utility Services is looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel & Utility Construction Mechanic to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. 🔧 What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and company equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains
• Complete DOT inspections (daily, quarterly, annual) and ensure full compliance
• Handle welding and fabrication as needed
• Track and document maintenance, repairs, and downtime
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine solutions
• Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed
• Perform occasional field repairs (travel may be required)
• Communicate with operations and warehouse teams on fleet status
• Follow all safety procedures and standards at all times
  
  

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical experience (heavy equipment experience is a plus)
• CDL preferred
• Ability to work on a variety of equipment (air compressors, skid steers, pumps, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals
• Commitment to safety is a must

💪 Work Environment

• Shop and warehouse setting with some outdoor work
• Occasional travel for on-site repairs
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks
