🔧 What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and company equipment
- Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains
- Complete DOT inspections (daily, quarterly, annual) and ensure full compliance
- Handle welding and fabrication as needed
- Track and document maintenance, repairs, and downtime
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine solutions
- Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed
- Perform occasional field repairs (travel may be required)
- Communicate with operations and warehouse teams on fleet status
- Follow all safety procedures and standards at all times
- Strong mechanical experience (heavy equipment experience is a plus)
- CDL preferred
- Ability to work on a variety of equipment (air compressors, skid steers, pumps, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals
- Commitment to safety is a must
- High-quality repairs with zero repeat issues
- Timely completion of work orders
- Maintaining 95% fleet uptime
- 100% compliance with DOT and safety inspections
- Preventative maintenance completed consistently to avoid breakdowns
- Safe work environment with zero accidents
- Shop and warehouse setting with some outdoor work
- Occasional travel for on-site repairs
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks
