Role Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Manager specializing in FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and knowledge of SD modules. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring seamless integration of financial and supply chain operations within our SAP landscape.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules
- Financial Accounting (FI): GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Controlling (CO): Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting
- Provide functional expertise to support implementation, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
- Analyze business requirements, identify process improvements, and propose SAP best-practice solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integration between FICO and SD modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP ECC FICO in production environments
- Collaborate with ABAP and BASIS teams for enhancements, interfaces, and performance issues
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities with accurate reporting
- Assist with audit support, controls, and compliance requirements
- Develop functional specifications, conduct unit and integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support SAP transports, testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT), and cutover activities
- Develop FICO knowledge/competency in super users and subject matter experts throughout the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5–8 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in implementation and support environments
- Strong understanding of business processes in Finance and Costing
- Experience with integration points across SAP ECC or S/4HANA landscapes
- Knowledge of SAP BI/ BW and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) is a plus
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential
- SAP Certification in FICO preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15%, depending on project needs
