Position Overview
Anchor Health Home Care is looking for organized, motivated Entry-Level Office Professionals to join our Brooklyn office team. This role is a great fit if you have some office or professional experience and are looking to build a career, but no home care or healthcare industry background is required. We provide full training on our systems, processes, and industry, so we're looking for someone coachable, personable, and eager to grow, not a specific resume.
Depending on your strengths and our current needs, you could be placed in scheduling and coordination, customer service, internal sales, or another office department. All positions are office-based, phone- and computer-driven, and client-facing in some capacity.
Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, families, and internal teams by phone and email
- Provide accurate information and respond to inquiries, escalating issues to the appropriate team as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in internal systems
- Assist with data entry and day-to-day office operations
- Depending on department placement, tasks may include scheduling and case coordination, customer service and support, or outbound calls introducing our services to the community
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other office departments to support company-wide goals
Qualifications
- Some office, administrative, or customer-facing professional experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable learning new computer systems and software
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who is coachable and eager to learn
- No home care or healthcare experience required, we will train you
- Must be able to commute to Brooklyn, New York
