- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
- Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high standards of floor care and buffing across various surfaces
- Conduct sanitation procedures regularly to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded in all areas
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling practices to prevent injuries
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, supply usage, and safety checks for accountability and continuous improvement
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including floor buffers), and sanitation standards
