Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Nurse, Med-surg Adult
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team and provide high-quality care for adult patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to triage and assess patients quickly and accurately, administer treatments and medications as necessary, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Triaging and assessing patients in the Emergency Room
- Administering treatments and medications as prescribed
- Documenting patient care and progress accurately and timely
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Providing education to patients and their families on treatment options and self-care techniques
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 2 years of experience working in emergency room or medical-surgical adult nursing
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
