Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities. This role focuses on expanding our presence across U.S. government agencies through full‑lifecycle capture and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development and capture efforts across the federal procurement lifecycle
- Identify and qualify new opportunities aligned with company capabilities
- Develop and execute win strategies for federal contracts
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Establish relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
- Support proposal development, including solutioning, pricing, and positioning
- Track opportunities and maintain accurate CRM reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of federal business development / capture experience
- Proven success winning federal contracts (prime or subcontract)
- Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
- Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT, cybersecurity, intelligence, engineering, logistics, or defense‑related domains
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending
- Capture management or proposal experience
- APMP certification or Master’s degree
