Medical Malpractice Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical malpractice litigation and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial. This role requires excellent analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills, along with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Lead and manage the litigation process for assigned medical malpractice cases
- Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and legal motions
- Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and involved parties
- Oversee all aspects of trial preparation, including:
- Witness preparation
- Evidentiary analysis
- Case strategy development
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Collaborate with internal legal teams and external experts, including medical professionals
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation (required)
- Strong expertise in discovery practice with a proven track record
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and legal writing skills
- Exceptional research and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage complex cases
- Demonstrated experience in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
