Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pleasant Prairie, WI, Hagerstown, MD, North Las Vegas, NV. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including processing accounts payable and receivable, recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Accountant will reconcile bank and account balances, support budget preparation and variance analysis, and provide financial data and reports to internal stakeholders. The individual will also assist with audits, help implement process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
✅ Lead monthly close activities and ensure timely financial reporting
✅ Review inventory transactions, analyze variances, and communicate insights to management
✅ Process weekly payroll using third-party systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms
✅ Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, three-way matching, approvals, and payment runs
✅ Maintain accurate vendor records and ERP system entries
✅ Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, cash applications, and pricing updates
✅ Assist with year-end close and external audit support
✅ Partner with leadership on process improvements and special finance projects
✅ Provide accounting support across multiple manufacturing locations as needed
Required Qualifications:
✔ Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✔ 0–4 years of accounting experience
✔ Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting)
✔ Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Manufacturing and/or Cost Accounting experience
⭐ ERP system experience
⭐ Payroll processing experience (ADP, Paychex, or similar)
