Job Description
We are seeking a Senior AI-Assisted Full Stack Engineer with strong Java backend and React frontend expertise, along with hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Anthropic Claude and Cursor. The ideal candidate will leverage AI to accelerate software design, development, refactoring, testing, and production hardening while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability. This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strong engineering fundamentals, AI development experience, and the ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code for enterprise production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and React.
- Utilize Claude, Cursor, and other AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software development.
- Review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code to ensure production readiness.
- Apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
- Participate in application design, development, refactoring, testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide the team in adopting AI-assisted engineering practices and building confidence in AI-generated artifacts.
- Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java backend development.
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Demonstrated experience using Anthropic Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and engineering best practices.
- Experience evaluating, refactoring, and production-hardening AI-generated code.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating LLMs into enterprise software.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience mentoring teams on AI-assisted software development practices.
