HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Packaging Engineer to support the design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions used across manufacturing, logistics, and service operations.In this role, you’ll develop packaging and material flow solutions that improve product quality, operational efficiency, and logistics performance across manufacturing and supplier operations.The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, process-oriented, and experienced in packaging design, supply chain operations, and manufacturing support within fast-paced production environments.As a Packaging Engineer, you'll:Partner with the staff packaging engineer to support the design, standardization, and implementation of packaging solutions for manufacturing operations.Develop and improve packaging systems used for supplier shipments, internal material handling, and service operations.Support vendor selection, supplier coordination, and packaging validation activities.Collaborate cross-functionally with vehicle engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure packaging solutions meet operational and product requirements.Develop procedures and processes related to packaging validation, continuous improvement, and supplier feedback management.Support and own service packaging initiatives, including packaging optimization and implementation activities.Partner with packaging engineering and logistics teams to implement material handling and conveyance solutions that support manufacturing operations.Work with suppliers to improve packaging quality, transportation efficiency, inventory management, and overall logistics performance.Monitor packaging-related KPIs and support initiatives that improve packaging effectiveness, operational efficiency, and cost performance.
