Title: Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Staff Packaging Engineer in process design and standardization of packaging design for all components needed for manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in vendor selection and management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supplier quality, and logistics teams to ensure packaging meets internal customer needs.
  • Develop procedures for packaging validation and continuous improvement, incorporating supplier feedback.
  • Own all aspects of Service Packaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles and logistics business systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD, technical drawings, and automation development.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
