HireArt is helping our client find a Test Engineering Technician II to support the setup, execution, and debugging of tests for sensor and compute hardware platforms.In this role, you’ll support prototype builds and production-intent hardware by executing test plans with high accuracy and ensuring components meet performance and reliability standards. You’ll work closely with engineering and R&D teams to validate designs, troubleshoot failures, and improve test processes.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in hardware testing within an engineering development environment.As a Test Engineering Technician II, you'll:Test and troubleshoot prototype assemblies with support from engineering and R&D teams.Participate in design reviews and provide feedback during the prototype development phase.Collaborate with engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and testability.Perform final testing of components and assemblies.Conduct failure analysis and repairs, and generate detailed failure analysis reports.Create and refine test instructions and procedures to improve test quality and efficiency.Maintain test equipment calibration and lab tools.Support development of automated test fixtures and related software or firmware.Perform testing and calibration of subassemblies and final assemblies.Follow electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to complete work assignments.
