Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with various hand and power tools. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly line process, ensuring that products are built to specification and quality standards.
Duties
- Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality in every step of the process.
- Handle all tools, equipment, inventory and other company property with care
- Understand torque values
- Understand the difference in fasteners
- Adjust spring tensions, spacing, and alignment
- Handle a large range of component parts and maintain accurate inventory of components in the assembly and kitting work centers
- Considerable adjusting, aligning, and fitting to very close tolerances and strict inspection standards
- Kitting components into small boxes and crates using quality check sheets to ensure accuracy of kit contents.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience working in a warehouse setting
