Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Anniston, AL

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support and improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and compliance with applicable standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures
- Analyze product and process data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements
Qualifications
- Technical degree (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role or similar position
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with ISO, ASQ, or industry-specific quality standards
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software or quality management systems
