ASSEMBLER

JOB SUMMARY:  
An Assembler I or Level 1 is an entry-level role in which the employee performs repetitive assembly tasks, operating various tools to assemble components and units according to specifications. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsibilities include assembling, aligning, and adjusting parts, using hand and power tools, performing minor part-fitting operations (like filing or crimping), and using basic measuring tools
• Verify components against parts lists and load them accurately into feeders
• This role typically involves working under the close direction of senior personnel, indicating a need for supervision and training in the functional area
• Following safety protocols, operational standards, and work instructions to maintain quality and efficiency
• Maintaining equipment and keeping the workspace clean and organized for safety and productivity
• Follow all ESD, safety, and company quality procedures 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of assembly experience (manufacturing or assembly environment)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification preferred but not required. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT 

• Good hand/eye coordination required.
• Must have 20/20 vision (with correction) and color vision.
• Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise levels.
• Regular exposure to flux and other manufacturing chemicals; must follow safety and ESD procedures
