The Assembler I position at Backer Hotwatt, Inc. is responsible for performing various assembly tasks to manufacture products and components. Working under supervision, the Assembler I follows oral and/or written work instructions along with drawings to assemble parts, operate machinery, use hand tools, and ensure quality standards are met
.
Key Responsibilitie
- s:Read, interpret, and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and other specifications to ensure accurate assembly of part
- s.Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to established procedures and guideline
- s.Enforce quality control at the workstation by inspecting components prior to assembling, inspect 1st piece and seek sign off from area Group Leader to ensure they meet quality standards before proceedin
- g.Record and report any defects or issues to the area superviso
- r.At the end of every workday, clean the work area, maintain tools and equipment, to ensure proper functionality and safet
- y.Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to improve processes, resolve issues, and achieve production goal
