The Senior Project Manager / Estimator leads AMI’s estimating and project management functions, partnering closely with operations to ensure projects are accurately priced, well planned, and executed profitably. This role provides technical leadership across all scopes of work—from site utilities through paving—while driving consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the department.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee project execution from award through closeout, supporting operations with technical expertise
- Partner with field and office leadership to manage budgets, schedules, and job performance
- Analyze actual vs. estimate performance
- Serve as a technical resource during project startup to clarify scope, means, and methods
- Coordinate scope changes, clarifications, and customer communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and approve takeoffs, estimates, proposals, bonds, and permits
- Develop and train Estimating/PM team by establishing and documenting processes
- Coordinate subcontractor pricing and validate scope completeness
- Support change order pricing and documentation
- Coordinates with the client on all changes in scope, questions, addendums, or clarifications regarding the work during the bidding process
Skills:
- Two (2) to three (3) years of proven experience managing civil/site construction projects, including site utilities through paving
- Experience with Agtek and Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of estimating, job costing, and margin management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
- Strong communication skills with both field and office teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Concrete, asphalt, base stone, or excavation experience is a plus
- Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
Salary : $100,000 - $1,500,000
