AMI seeks a talented, enthusiastic, and action-oriented Asphalt Milling Machine Operator for our dynamic milling division. This key role involves the set-up, safe operation, and maintenance of the milling machine, contributing to successful projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate the milling machine to meet specified grades/elevations and job specifications.
- Skillfully operates the milling machine to remove asphalt or concrete to specified depths and patterns on roads, parking lots, etc.
- Complete all assigned jobs on time and within budget.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the asphalt paving industry
- Work with and motivate crew members, clearly communicating expectations and promoting positivity.
- Report issues, material needs, and progress to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed:
- Proven asphalt milling experience is required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating a Wirtgen Milling Machine or comparable equipment is required.
- Available to work weekends (specifically Saturdays).
- Ability to operate additional equipment (Skid Steer, Paver, or Roller) is a plus..
Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
