Aborn Pet Hospital is growing! We just completed a full hospital renovation, with added exam rooms, and added a new doctor. We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
- Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule: Full-time, four or five 8-hour shifts per week. Must be willing to work on Saturday and some Sundays.

Who You Are:
- 1 year of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary assistant preferred
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of cats and dogs
- Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Collect laboratory samples for urinalysis, cytology, bloodwork, fecal analysis
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per doctor orders
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
