The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent position for candidates with good foundational skills who are looking to grow their career in veterinary medicine.
In this role, you will assist our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, including gentle animal handling and restraint during procedures and physical exams. You will administer medications and assist with patient care as needed. You will prepare and clean patient areas throughout the day including exam rooms and procedural/treatment areas, anticipating team needs and ensuring preparedness and efficiency. This is an ideal position for efficient multi-taskers who enjoy a supportive role in a team-oriented environment!
Schedule
This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and shifts Monday through Friday. We also ask each team member to support two weekend shifts per year to assist with annual and mid-year inventory.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $18-20 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current experience
