What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at AmeriVet Veterinary Partners?
Sequist Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician. We are a general practice that has provided state of the art veterinary care to our patients for decades. We work with both dogs and cats.
Veterinary Technicians play a vital role in the success of our practice and it is our goal to make sure each team member feels valued. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and compassionate. Someone who is a team player and always keeps the best interests of our patients in mind by providing quality care and excellent customer service.
Candidates ideally will have experience in phlebotomy, client communications, surgical assistance, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology (including dental), routine medical care, handling medical records, anesthesia, patient handling, and patient monitoring.
We provide a four-day work week and pay based off from experience and certification. Our hospital is open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, so no late nights or on-call emergencies. We believe in a healthy work life balance and are here to support a positive and welcoming work environment.
