Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and sanitation standards are met or exceeded
- Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient team performance
- Monitor cleaning procedures including industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry services, and sanitation management
- Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols
- Coordinate with management to schedule cleaning activities and address any deficiencies promptly
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, cleanliness logs, and safety documentation for accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns related to cleanliness and ensuring a positive experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping management with a focus on quality control
- Supervising or team management experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning environment
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management techniques
- Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with other departments
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team supervision and motivation
- Familiarity with laundry operations and hospitality industry standards is preferred
- Ability to perform detailed inspections while maintaining a lively and energetic approach to team oversight
