Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the mall’s interior spaces. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and pleasant environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff by upholding high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize common areas including corridors, seating areas, food courts, and entrances
- Maintain restrooms by cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies regularly
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as needed
- Clean glass surfaces, windows, and doors to maintain a spotless appearance
- Respond promptly to spills and emergency clean-up situations
- Monitor high-traffic areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
