Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in a Long-Term Acute Care setting, requiring a GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of experience.
Details
- Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting on a dedicated nursing floor (5th Floor)
- PCU-level care within an LTAC environment
- Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
- RTO is capped at 5 days if it does not fall on or near a holiday, and 3 days if it does fall on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and RTO must be spread out — consecutive days around holidays will not be approved
