Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 1 years of experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit spanning the 3rd and 4th floors of a 107-bed hospital
- 57-bed unit serving patients of all ages including geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations
- Common diagnoses include COPD, post-op joint patients, and diabetic care
- Patient ratio up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
- Uses MediTech EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required, with additional weekends as needed
- On-call responsibilities as needed
- Floating to like units may be required as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB
- Minimum 1 years of RN experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across a diverse patient population in a Med/Surg setting
- Kind, caring, and compassionate personality fit preferred
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable, though branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
