Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) position within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
- Every other weekend availability may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor
Requirements
- Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS (ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Additional Information
- Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Telemetry experience is preferred
- Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
- Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility, after which a minimum 26-week break is required before returning
