Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active ME or compact RN license.
Details
- Day shift schedule in a hospital Operating Room setting
- Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
- Every other weekend may be required upon request by the Department Manager or Supervisor
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS required within 30 days of start
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
- Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and team-oriented work style required
Additional Information
- Works under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Holiday coverage required for the following holidays: Christmas, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility before being required to leave for at least 26 weeks
