Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg PCU Nights position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active WA or compact RN license.

- 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
- Combined Med/Surg and PCU/Telemetry unit
- Adult med/surg patient population
- Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Experience across Med/Surg, PCU, and Telemetry areas required
- COVID-19 vaccination not required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient education, safety measures, infection control, and accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and physician orders
- Operates and troubleshoots equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and Med/Surg areas
- Responsible for maintaining and restocking emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies
- Communicates critical lab values to physicians per policy and provides thorough shift-change handoffs
