Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics (Post Surgical) night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Details
- Medical/surgical orthopedic unit focusing on post-surgical patient coverage
- Responsibilities include admissions assessments, ongoing patient evaluations, and IV medication and therapy administration, including blood products
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 4x12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Clean license history and background required for consideration
- Demonstrated competency in the application of restraints and seclusion monitoring and care required
Additional Information
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the post-surgical unit
- Involves patients and their caregivers in care plan development and ongoing updates throughout the stay
