Description
American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified RN for a Chemotherapy unit position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ONS/ONCC certification and Epic experience.
Details
- Work in the Chemotherapy unit of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Level II Trauma Center setting
- Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts, 7:00–19:30
- Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior chemotherapy nursing experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required (religious and medical exemptions considered)
- No prior disciplinary history on nursing license
- Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the assignment
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
