American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent cardiovascular or critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular procedures
- Shift is 07:30 to 17:00
- 13-week assignment
- Direct patient care responsibilities include monitoring and recording patient condition throughout procedures
- Participate in equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room preparation
- Collaborate and communicate continuously with physicians and the Cardiovascular Lab team
- Involvement in performance improvement and quality activities
- Training in workplace violence prevention (DCI/BVP) is required, with options for completion through various providers
- Local and travel candidates accepted at the same pay structure
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area is required
- BSN preferred
