American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ED Observation Unit position in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of relevant experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details- ED Observation Unit at a regional hospital in Billings, MT
- Variable 12-hour shifts with potential option for straight days or nights depending on unit needs
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ED Observation or equivalent specialty setting
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire prior to start date)
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for observation patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
- BSN is preferred but not required
