American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS.

• ICU/CCU setting providing care for critically ill patients
• Patient population includes those requiring pressors, sedation, thrombolytic therapy, electrolyte replacement, cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator/BiPAP support
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
• Minimum of 3 weekends required per 6-week schedule
• Holiday rotation required (generally 3 of the 6 major holidays)
• Floating to a like unit may be required
• No on-call requirements
• Charting via Meditech

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
• Candidates who were directly employed by the facility within the past 12 months are not eligible unless prior written consent has been obtained

• Responsibilities include bedside procedures such as chest tube placement, intubation, line placement, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, and thoracentesis, as well as conscious sedation
• 13-week assignment
• No parking cost at this facility
• Professional appearance required; any scrub color is acceptable
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a rate differential
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accommodated
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
