American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Evening/night shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating may be required within skill set, either onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
• Epic EMR used

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
• Minimum 3 years of ED experience required; candidates without prior travel experience must have 5 years in a large ED
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred for candidates with fewer than 5 years of ED experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Required documents for consideration: full SSN, full DOB, 2 professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications, license verification/Nursys, and copy of Driver's License

• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
