Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with experience scrubbing EP devices and complex interventional cases for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; some late shifts may exceed 10 hours
- Call schedule includes 1 night of call per week and 1-2 weekends of call per 6-week period
- Procedures include EP device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, Micras), diagnostic and complex interventional cases, with EP and structural heart cases also performed
- EMR: Epic; cardiac monitoring system: Siemens Sensis; imaging system: Philips
Requirements
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required (AHA certifications only accepted)
- Must be able to scrub EP devices including pacemakers, ICDs, and Micras
- Must be able to scrub and monitor diagnostic and complex interventional cases
- EP experience preferred; structural heart experience is a plus
- Active state license required if applicable
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidate's permanent residence must be 100 miles from the facility's service area; local candidates are not accepted

- General orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable time
